Plastic products are the general designation of all the processes including injection molding and blistering with plastic as raw materials. China’s plastic products are mainly used in agriculture, packaging, construction, industrial transportation and engineering fields.
From 2008 to 2020, China’s plastic products industry maintained a stable growth, and showed a significant decline in 2018. This is also related to the introduction of domestic industrial policies to a certain extent. For example, since the environmental inspection started in 2017, small downstream factories and non-conforming enterprises have been successively banned and shut down, which has restricted the increase in the production of plastic products, especially in 2018. At the same time, this is also related to the large base in 2017. In 2017, China’s plastic products increased by 3.4499 million tons, an increase of 4.43%.
